This volcanic museum is located near a long-ago igneous mountain, that nowadays serves as an open-air volcanic park. The aim of the project was to design a building that recalls and shows the monumentality of nature, and also the forces of nature. Because of the distance between the two sites, we created a journey through the museum, across our pre-park to reach the natural site. This journey basically breaks in two the mass of the building, showing the way.
