For this city we envisioned an integrated strategy of how to become a strong first stage of the region. Being the first city in the agglomeration of the south of Budapest, Dunaharaszti has a strong economical power supported by its position, and also a given access to the shores of the River Danube. Our proposal for the city center was to articulate its linearity by providing two linear structures, one for the built environment and for urban functions, and one for the natural environment and for recreation. The two lines are linked and jointed on strategic points. Considering the already existing monuments, buildings and functions, we added new functions to the sites and recreational areas to enrich the variegation.
This project is now completed in the city of Dunaharaszti.
